# Pre-listing home inspection checklist

Make the visit easier by preparing access and sharing useful property information.

## Before the appointment

- Confirm the address, date, inspection fee, and written scope.
- Provide safe access to the home, attic access, electrical panel, and equipment where available.
- Make sure utilities can be operated if the inspection scope requires them.
- Gather permits, repair invoices, roof or HVAC records, and warranty documents you want to share.
- Write down known leaks, repairs, or recurring issues so you can discuss them accurately.

## During the visit
